Legislative and Regulatory Advocacy
WASCA provides ambulatory surgery industry representation and serves as the primary point of contact for issues related to the industry. As the only ASC trade association in Washington, WASCA is available to listen to its members’ concerns and address those concerns through the appropriate channels, including legislative and regulatory advocacy. WASCA represents the interests of ASCs before legislators, regulatory agencies, payors and other organizations on issues that affect the industry. Through its lobbying staff, WASCA champion laws and regulations that support the ambulatory surgery industry and challenge laws and regulations that threaten the industry.
